Growing Wings Series
This series explores the transformations people experience at life’s turning points. The series reflects on themes of losing control and the search for a safe space for recovery. At its center is the recurring motif of the nest, a symbol of home, tranquility, and growth.
We live in a state of sensory and emotional overload, navigating constant change — wars, natural disasters, political upheavals, and economic crises. Life no longer follows a clear or predictable rhythm. In the face of global forces, we often feel small, stripped of control, and unsure of our own strength. These watercolors capture the moment of a pause where inner resources, courage, and resilience can grow. This body of work reflects not only the longing for safety but also the possibility of transformation: finding ways to move through change while staying true to oneself.
