About me

My name is Jenny Andreeva, I’m a watercolor artist based in Berlin. I was born in Moscow in 1989.

Before starting a career as a figurative artist several years ago, I gained a classical philological education and worked as an editor for 11 years. Today, when I exchanged writing speech to visual language, the text and language game still remains an important part of my creative process.

I paint watercolors in a new romantic manner and study the topics of nostalgia and memory and interaction of human and cultural phenomena. My intention is to create visual narrative and tell stories through my artworks.

I work on my personal projects and commissions and take part in international exhibitions including the International Watercolor Festival in Fabriano, the most important watercolor event in Europe.
