Wahres Zuhause exhibition

The exhibition Wahres Zuhause (True Home) took place at the Interkulturelles Frauenzentrum SUSI in Berlin in April — May 2025. It explores the experience of migration and the challenge of redefining oneself after leaving one’s homeland. As artists from Russia, Chile, and Ukraine, we reflect in our art on the feeling of belonging neither fully to our culture of origin nor entirely to our new society. The exhibition examines how we can find a true home within ourselves—beyond countries, material possessions, or social structures.
