Over the course of one day, you will build a practical foundation for working independently with watercolor. You will learn how to control the medium, mix complex colors, create depth and atmosphere, and use watercolor techniques in your own artistic practice.

High-quality materials are included in the price.
Participants will also receive an illustrated handbook with the key information from the course.

This workshop is limited to 8 participants to keep the experience personal and focused.

Program

  • Looking at the possibilities of contemporary watercolor and different approaches to the medium.

  • Brushes, paints, paper, and additional tools. What actually matters and what does not.

  • How to create depth, atmosphere, and a sense of space.

  • Color mixing and finding the right shades.

  • Using watercolor to describe light, shadow, and contrast.

About the teacher

Jenny Andreeva

Jenny is a Berlin-based artist and watercolor teacher, a participant of the international Fabriano Watercolor Festival, and a member of the German Watercolor Society.

She works with large-scale watercolor paintings and has presented three solo exhibitions in Berlin alongside multiple group exhibitions. She has been teaching for more than five years.
